A’lanah Harrison graduated from Auckland University with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce in 2008.

After finishing university, A’lanah landed a graduate solicitor role at a mid-sized Auckland CBD firm. During her 14 years at this firm, she worked across the trusts and estates, property and commercial teams, before specialising in trusts and estates. A’lanah then led the trusts and estates team and was promoted to partner.

In 2022, A’lanah joined the Armstrong Murray team.

A’lanah specialises in estate planning and asset protection. She helps her clients structure their affairs in the best way to suit their needs. In particular, she assists clients with trust formation, ongoing trust administration and the preparation of wills and enduring powers of attorney.

Whenever clients get in touch with A’lanah, they know they can expect prompt communication and practical, realistic solutions. Clients are consistently impressed by her ability to quickly recall the details of their circumstances and hit the ground running.

A’lanah loves seeing the weight lifted off her clients’ shoulders and hearing that they feel supported and reassured after seeking her advice.

She is a member of the Auckland Women Lawyers’ Association, Auckland District Law Society and the Estate and Taxation Planning Council, plus a Property Law Section Accredited Specialist and member of the New Zealand Law Society.

A’lanah loves the welcoming, friendly culture at Armstrong Murray. She has enjoyed building new relationships with the firm’s clients and helping them work through important decisions in a supportive way.
