Nick Robertson
Solicitor
Nick Robertson graduated from Otago University with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Politics, Economics and Philosophy) in 2021.
He began his career at a Palmerston North law firm, where he worked within the trusts team and developed his knowledge of trust law.
At the start of 2023, Nick moved to Auckland and joined the Armstrong Murray team.
Nick specialises in trust management and administration, with a particular focus on navigating the changes brought about under the Trusts Act 2019. He also assists clients with succession planning and resolving disputes between trustees and beneficiaries.
One of the things that Nick likes most about trust law is the complexities and challenges that individual family dynamics bring. He enjoys crafting a personalised solution for each client, one that suits their family situation and any relationship difficulties involved.
His clients appreciate the care and attention he gives to each matter and his ability to understand their specific needs.
Nick loves working within a small, cohesive team. He believes in taking a client-centric approach to his work, which aligns perfectly with Armstrong Murray’s values and ethos.
