Graduate
Te Maia Pihema graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance. He is currently working towards his Professional studies.
Before joining Armstrong Murray, Te Maia worked part-time for Tuia Group, a legal consultancy firm in Wellington that focused on supporting Māori businesses and organisations within the Māori economy. This role gave him valuable experience in legal research, drafting statutory reviews, and advising clients on business planning.
At Armstrong Murray, Te Maia is developing expertise in property law. He is eager to build a strong foundation by learning all aspects of the property process, from residential and commercial transactions to assisting clients through financing, refinancing, and property agreements.
For Te Maia the most fulfilling part of the role is helping clients feel reassured when buying or selling property which is often the biggest financial transaction they will make in their lives.
Te Maia is motivated to bring fresh energy and perspective to the firm. He is committed to ensuring clients feel heard and supported, and works hard to deliver clear, practical solutions tailored to their needs.
Raised on the Hibiscus Coast, Te Maia has always enjoyed being close to the water. You will often find him at Red Beach, where he has been actively involved with the Surf Lifesaving Club for the past 10 years.
Te Maia was drawn to Armstrong Murray for the people, down-to-earth, supportive, and genuinely committed to their clients.
