Karen Stubbs joined Armstrong Murray in 1998 and became a partner of the firm in 2016.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Auckland University in 1985. After finishing university, Karen worked for a small general practice in central Auckland.
Following this, she spent six years practising at the North Shore branch of a larger Auckland law firm, where she developed a broad scope of knowledge across all areas of the law.
Karen initially started at Armstrong Murray in a temporary part-time role, but she soon proved herself to be an asset to the firm and was offered a permanent role.
Karen’s clients value her practical approach. She is incredibly organised and methodical, setting an excellent example for junior staff as they build their own systems and processes.
Many of Karen’s clients engage her to manage both their personal and commercial legal matters, valuing her expertise in property, trusts, estate planning and business transactions.
Karen, who has lived on the North Shore her entire life, is proud of Armstrong Murray’s active involvement in the local community. She feels that the firm’s size is a significant strength, being large enough to offer a wide range of services yet small enough to know clients on a personal level.
